ever since i was a kid i've always found food-related items really comforting. i don't know why and it is difficult for me to try to explain it but i will attempt to do so here. i was described as a "picky" eater by the adults in my life. (i did not start trying new things until i was much older. i likely have/had ARFID.) i'm also vegetarian and have been for almost 12 years. HOWEVER that does not stop me from getting very excited about a nice looking hot dog, a fun box of cereal, or a menu of well-crafted burgers- even though i don't want to eat any of those things. i just like the idea of it. i like it for the novelty. and something about the novelty of food and food packaging interests me aesthetically. as a kid i always really liked playing with fake food toys. just something about them made me feel very cozy. because of this inclination, i have amassed quite the collection of foodshaped/food themed items over the years and this silly little page is a place for me to display them all :)
